Studio About is a creative production studio delivering unique branding, artistic events, and creative marketing solutions. As the sister company of About Collab, Studio About wanted to refresh their branding and website design to align more closely with About Collab’s new visual identity.

PROBLEM

Studio About had a solid foundation brand identity, but their visual identity was slightly outdated and needed polishing. The existing elements did not properly reflect Studio About's relation with About Collab. There was misalignment between the websites and branding assets that needed to be handled.


GOAL

The primary goal of this project was to refresh Studio About's branding and elevate their website experience to be more cohesive with the new About Collab identity.

IMPACT

The refreshed branding and website brought Studio About’s visual identity up to date and aligned it with About Collab, highlighting their partnership and complementary services. The brand refresh boosted Studio About's presence and enhanced user engagement by providing a more intuitive and visually appealing experience.

APPROACH

STEP 1: BRAND DISCOVERY


I began by reviewing the current visual elements and compared them to About Collab’s brand identity to pinpoint any misalignment. I discussed my findings and suggestions with Studio About's team, making sure we are on the same page with their vision for the refreshed brand.


STEP 2: BRAND REFRESH


Using the insights I collected, I updated the company's Brand Bible with new guidelines we discussed and created a presentation template they can use for their projects in the future.

STEP 3: WEBSITE REDESIGN


The website redesign had two goals: Improve user experience & align the branding with sister company About Collab. The new, refreshed website featured a clean, intuitive layout that reflected Studio About's values, looks professional, and has shared visual language between two companies while allowing each company to maintain its unique identity.


STEP 4: TESTING & REFINEMENT


Throughout the process, I worked closely with Studio About's team and conducted user testing and gathered feedback to refine the design. By aligning Studio About’s branding with About Collab, I helped create a strong visual identity and strategic connection between the two sister companies, making it easier for potential clients to understand Studio About’s services and creative approach.
